Learn How To Embroider An Easy Bee

Show someone your appreciation by making them this little honey bee embroidery kit.   It’s a little honey bee card which also doubles as a keepsake.   They're a great way to commemorate a special occasion like an anniversary, Valentine’s Day, a birthday, thanking a teacher or for just telling someone how inspiring they are!  Choose from the two sentiment tags that come with it:

  • I love Bee-ing with you
  • Keep Bee-ing inspiring

This honey bee embroidery pattern comes pre-printed onto the paper making embroidering very simple. Begin by choosing a sentiment tag, hand embroider the design, cut out the bee shape, write a note on the back, add a silky ribbon and seal it in an envelope. It's that simple! It's a bit like doing dot-to-dot but with wool rather than a pencil, with the precise placement of the dots on the printed paper making it easy to achieve a neat finish.  They are completely suited to a novice who has never embroidered before!  Check out our guide, with all the info you need to stitch in paper.

I decided to make this little bee embroidery with black tapestry wool to give it a more universal appeal, because its nice to make the men in our life little handmade gifts too!  Each embroidery kit is wrapped in tissue paper and presented boxed, branded with the product image on the front, making it ready for gifting.

A standard kit comes with one bee but you can also choose kits containing two or three, handy if you have a few people to thank or congratulate or just share the love with.  You can add a personalised message by writing on the back of the flower in pencil.
