Heart Shaped Wall Art

This DIY heart embroidery kit is a great way to create your own grey heart wall art.  The heart shaped embroidery kit comes with a clear and simple instruction leaflet which teaches you how to stitch the paper heart.  It's a bit like doing dot-to-dot but with wool rather than a pencil, with the precise placement of the dots on the printed paper making it easy to achieve a beautiful finish.   It’s the perfect starter project for anybody wanting to learn embroidery or a quick thoughtful gift to make for more experienced embroiderers.  If worked continuously, its possible to complete in less than an hour, so it’s a embroidery project you can finish!

The paper embroidery kit is A5 in size and is printed on an eco friendly, quality, hemp paper which has a watercolour like appearance.  The pressed wildflowers are digitally printed images of the pressed flowers, that look very real.  The paper is soft and durable making stitching the paper extremely therapeutic.  As it’s worked all in one colour it also allows for a lovely rhythm of stitching without lots of stopping, starting and re-threading of the needle.

Each embroidery kit is wrapped in tissue paper and presented boxed, branded with the product image on the front, making it ready for gifting.

Love Heart Stitches

This embroidered love heart uses a very basic satin stitch worked in long and short stitches.

Kit Contents

1 x A5 size giclee print (with pre-printed template,) approx 148mm x 210mm or 5.8 x 8.27 inches.

1 x Premium John James needle

1 x Yarn card

1 x A4 sized instruction leaflet.

For slightly three dimensional work like this embroidered love heart, I love to frame with a double mount to give a sophisticated finish;  As well as loving a more casual framing approach to framing embroidery like using a vintage trouser hanger or a magnetic frame.
